Compelling guides on Darts Projector

I bought these to replace a couple of darts that came with my dart board. They are nice little darts but are about 3/4″ smaller or shorter than regular darts. They are good for children but not adults as they are to small. I give them a four star as they should be regular size but if you like smaller darts and that doesn’t matter to you then buy them. Guess I’ll go to Target or Walmart to buy regulation sizes that I need. And you can’t expect to much for $2.50 Cheers.

What music is playing during the direct tv commercial that aired october 2010?
It’s the commercial where a guy is Darts Projector sitting inside a theater projector room and some bald guy shows up and shoots a few darts at him before stealing the film. If any of you could tell me what the music playing during that scene it would be much appreciated.

  1. I’m not a pro at Darts but these just suck. I got them as a gift and almost immediately ordered another set of darts from a different manufacturer. Don’t waste your money. They feel like crap when you throw them and the shaft’s unscrew too easily. Flights also come off too easy. Invest a little more money in a better set. Fine for a backup set through.

  2. One shaft was bent quite a bit straight out of the box, while another was bent just a little. I also would need to immediately purchase o-rings since two shafts (including the not bent one) have zero tightening ability to the barrel. Flights are absolutely nothing special quality wise. This set of darts is positively a waste of money, and now time. My collection of freebies, cheapos, and my heavily used freebie cheapos included with my dartboard set are all better off at this moment than these wallet vampires fresh out of the box. Ugh. Going back.

  3. It’s a decent set of darts. The flights in the picture are not the ones I received. Flights also split and broke relatively quickly, had to use a replacement set. The entire length of the dart is coated in black paint, and will slowly chip away after moderate use. This was most noticeable on the steel tips where they puncture the dart board. My darts actually crashed into each other and caused part of the shaft to break, right where it holds the flights. Overall, they do a fine job and are worth $15.

  4. Love these little guys. I’ve been playing darts for decades, and these darts have helped my accuracy a bunch.

  5. The darts we received are 18 grams. Would have preferred a couple of grams lighter, perhaps, but there doesn’t seem to be any choice in the matter. The darts themselves throw well and are attractive. Coated brass barrels do not have the crosshatched grip pattern commonly seen, but there is variation in diameter at various points which takes the place of the grip pattern in your hand, but causes less wear-and-tear on the fingers over the course of an evening’s throwing, getting them back out of the board. Very good value, a step up from the darts which came with our electronic board.

  6. Make sure that you need such a heavy dart. Causes damage even with a soft tip.

  7. Probably a little heavier than I would have liked, but still very beautiful darts and enjoyable to play with. Make sure you like heavy darts if you purchase these.

  8. Cheap, but thats the only plus. I tossed these twice and broke all of the tips.

  9. I received this dartboard exactly when estimated (a week after I ordered with free shipping) and it has not disappointed. After daily abuse from both my roommates and I, this board shows virtually no sign of wear. I received the new model (with the arabic number 3 instead of the Roman numeral 3 at the bottom), and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Mounting was fairly simple, and I couldn’t ask for a more quality dartboard. Bounceouts still do occur (roughly once per game of 501 or cricket) but are much less frequent than any other board I’ve played on. You really can’t go wrong with the Winmau Blade 3.

  10. I just play darts for fun but I thought it would be nice to win once in a while when I go out to the local hangout. I didnt tell my buddies right away that I bought this but have been hanging it in my den and practicing. It is nicely made and the score categories match the ones I have found in bars so that helps keep me focused when I am practicing. My game has improved. tRy it you will like it.

  11. Bought this board about a month ago for bar use and it has been well worth it. The metal lines are triangular and very thin reducing bounce-outs dramatically, not to mention that the board is thick and holds darts well. The mounts for the board are very good as well ensuring all sides of the board have pressure against the wall making it a solid surface for darts to hit.

  12. Excelent Amazon service. A first quality item and a lower shipping fee than those at Ebay.
    Also delivery on time.

  13. I use these darts just for casual games at home and they work great. They have a nice feel and weight. They seem to be durable, they have hit the concrete floor a few times with no damage.

  14. I was pleasantly pleased with these darts. They have a good look and a good feel.

  15. Everything works well, I have used about everything in the set. The tips are good quality and last a long time.

  16. Great inexpensive good quality accessory set. Tips are tougher, last longer and bend less than my previous tips.
You get lots of tips, shafts and stabilizers – this is a great value. Halex is a popular brand, at least for casual/recreational players like me.

Lots of kids in the house and I have decided to shelved all my steel tipped darts for now, in favor of lighter and soft tipped darts.

  17. If you are new to darts, this is a good set to keep you going when the pieces of your darts inevitably break. The price is reasonable and the set covers all the things that wear out the fastest.

Now, having said that, I also have to say that, while I’m no dart shark, I HAVE developed a few preferences of my own and this kit doesn’t really fill any of them. First of all, I’m not a huge fan of these tips (these flair out toward the shank. I’d provide a link to the type I like, but I get them at a local store…). Secondly, I prefer aluminum shafts since they are more durable. I also prefer spinner shafts because the flights last much longer. Speaking of flights, these are OK, but I tend to like the wider flights more.

Bottom line: if you haven’t developed any dart preferences of your own yet, then this is a great little kit. If you already know what you like, then you probably don’t need me to tell you if this is a good kit or not :)
